Will my house be suitable for Solar Panels?

Generally as long as your house isn't north facing you should be OK.

Do the Panels work in the cold winter?

The collectors will work all year round. But they will be less efficient during the winter months due to less frequent radiant light. Still hot water will be generated, because they are not effected by temperature, just light.

Will I save money on my Energy Bills?

You will see a dramatic reduction on your quarterly, monthly or annual Bills. This will be even more apparent as fuels bills will only increase.

Are there any Grants available towards the cost of the Solar Panels & Installation?

Government Grants are available from the Renewable Heat Incentive launching in July 2011.

Is there any maintenance that has to be done by the householder?

How long do the panels last?

Yes, all installations come with a one-year guarantee from the moment the job is completed.

Are there any hidden running costs?

If you decided to go with the system that comes with the PV pump then you will find that there are no costs to powering the Solar Panel.
